Past Events (2022)

Refugees in San Diego:  An event put on in collaboration with the Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans to raise awareness of the diverse refugee population in the city and the community’s unique policy priorities. The event included having UCSD Student Makhfira Abdul speak about her experience as the daughter of refugees growing up in San Diego and attending UCSD.


What Does Social Justice Look Like at UCSD?  TLC hosted an open forum to share their concerns about social justice issues at UCSD, share their experiences, and work together to help make UCSD a more inclusive and safe environment.
